FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Subtractions Hires Steve Kullen as National Sales Manager- Kullen to lead asset retirement program -June 2005 -- (Laurel, MD) Sarah Manning, co-owner of Subtractions, LLC today announced that Steve Kullen has joined the company as their national corporate and government sales and asset retirement manager. Kullen, with over fifteen years of experience in recycling and 18 years with government programs will be the company's key sales person responsible for building sales and service. "We look at this position as a key to our continued success. Subtractions has grown significantly and consistently over the past decade and we want to extend our service to greater reaches within the mid-Atlantic region. Steve, because of his service oriented attitude, experience within the recycling industry and his national recognition fills a key role that Subtractions feels is needed," said Scott Wilson, Co-owner of Subtractions. "In order to keep Subtractions a leader in the industry we felt that we needed someone with special talents to work with our current and future customers. We feel that Steve is the person for this job." Kullen comes to the position with non-profit experience as the national program director with the National Recycling Coalition and the America Recycles Day program. Prior to working with the National Recycling Coalition Kullen was the recycling manager for Calvert County, Maryland for over a decade and former vice-president of the Maryland Recyclers Coalition. "Computers and other e-waste has great potential for recycling. Millions of computers and monitors are tossed in the landfill each year and if we can direct those items away from the landfill; capture that portion of our waste stream before it gets to the landfill, we can have a significant affect on landfill life, reuse of a material and help to protect our environment," noted Kullen.
